Stage 2: Screening of registered teams13th Nov 2023
After all the applications have been received, the next stage involves Screening of the registered teams’ ideas by a panel of judges from within and outside UDSM, thus industry stakeholders will be involved in the process. Each of the four tracks of the Challenge will have its own judges who will oversee the screening and selection of ideas that responds to the requirements of their respective tracks. For the UDSM track, the submitted ideas will be screened through a set of criteria and a selection of 20 best ideas (i.e., top 20 teams) will advance to the second round of the Challenge under the UDSM track. The evaluation criteria are: innovativeness & viability, market potential, team and its composition,impact to the society, and sustainability.
